Since 1999, Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel has travelled across the Caribbean, Pacific and Indian Oceans, working hand-in-hand with local distillers to preserve traditional craftsmanship, revive forgotten techniques and explore new flavour profiles. Rooted in centuries of rum-making heritage, Planteray is renowned for its signature double-ageing process, combining tropical maturation in the rum’s country of origin with further ageing in Ferrand cognac casks in France. Each Planteray expression tells the story of a place, its people, traditions and distinctive rum-making culture.
