Thanks to our trusted data partner, m1nd-set, the judging process draws on detailed feedback from an impressive sample of 5,000 travelling consumers. This robust methodology makes it one of the largest and most credible consumer-voted award demographics in the world.

In addition to the invaluable consumer insights, the awards incorporate votes from a specially selected panel of experienced travel influencers. Each panel member brings a wealth of travel expertise and evaluates the products firsthand during a dedicated judging weekend in London, allowing for an in-depth assessment of their quality and suitability.

Their combined scores, combined with the 5,000 consumer votes determine crown the industry’s most trailblazing products and initiatives. Every entrant benefits from constructive and valuable feedback provided by the influencer panel, ensuring the awards deliver insights that can help brands refine and improve their offerings in the future.

The consumer-voted Travel Retail Awards was developed with a sole aim: to provide honest, quality feedback and recognition to airports, retailers and suppliers and other stakeholders through the lens of the consumer.

In turn, we are hearing from participants that this is helping to drive sales while increasing consumer awareness. We welcome stakeholders from all channels to submit entries with the ability to provide commentary and images for consumers’ evaluation.
